Also a favorite on tour, the Phantom 9R is the next evolution of the Phantom 9 head shape that debuted in 2024. The 9R (“R” denoting rounded) features softer, more rounded contours and edges compared to its predecessor. A modified “R” version of the 9 head shape was first played on tour by Justin Thomas and is currently gamed by Cameron Young, who trusted the profile of a 9R model to win his first PGA TOUR title last season. In addition to its more rounded shape and new Phantom features, the 2026 9R shape offers two alignment cues: a long single sightline in the 9R model and a shorter, abbreviated sightline in the 9.2R.

• New full-face Studio Carbon Steel face inserts and chain-link face milling to soften sound while preserving feedback for the golfer and ball speed off the face;
